The Lantern Path

The Lantern Path is the sort of game that trusts you to figure things out. You wander crumbling ruins with a lantern that reveals paths and hidden marks, and there's almost no text telling you what to do. That silence is the whole point, and it works beautifully.

Movement is a simple drag-to-walk, and interactions are single taps, so nothing gets between you and the world. The puzzles are environmental rather than logic riddles, which means progress feels like discovery instead of homework. I got pleasantly lost more than once and never minded.

It's on the short side, maybe four hours, but every one of them is deliberate. This is a game to play with headphones, late, when the house is quiet.
